Hi,

Just a quick mail to let you know I’m attending the meeting tomorrow at 2 p.m.
I’ve already prepared all the documentation to show to the colleagues all the new products we’re launching to the market.
I’ll need a laptop and an interactive whiteboard to explain properly all the ideas to enter the market..

Kind regards,
Carlos Arribas

Informal E-mail

Hi there,

How’s it going? I hope everything is ok. Just a quick note to let you know I’m alright, spending a really nice time in London, and visiting my friends.
I’m also visiting interesting cities closer to London; such as Cambridge, Oxford,… they are really nice and lovely!!

I must be off, because I’ve got a meeting and don’t want to be late,

Cheers for now,
Carlos
Hi Oliver.

Just a short email to tell you the new information about tomorrow's conference. The conference will be on the second floor, but we can meet before to go together, so let's meet at the door five minutes before. You can get there by metro or by bus (line 7) and you won't have problems to find it.

So, if you have many questions please do get in touch.

Kind regards.

Hi Mary.

Just a quick one to let you know that I am alright. I arrived in London yesterday and now i'm having a rest at the hotel. This place is really nice and its really conveniently located. Now we're going to have dinner and, after that, going to have a rest or going for a walk to visit the centre.
So, what about you?

I miss you so much.

Lots of love.

Formal e-mail:

Dear Mr. Boss,

Just a short note to let you know that I put the report about the research results on your desk.

However some time later Mr. Smith asked me if he could read the report to get some information about the new project. I told him to ask you about it.

Yours sincerely

Andreas Morbach

E-Mail to a friend:

Dear Sebastian,

Just a quick one to say sorry for not coming to your party yesterday.

As I have already told you, I have to stay in bed because I am sick.
I’m still feeling bad, but when I’m all right again we will go out together.
Maybe to the disco or something like that

Cheers for now

Andreas

Thursday's Class

Hello,

Today we had an interesting class. We had a suprise guest, John Waterman, who taught us all about describing our families. We have then been continuing to look at writing emails, both formal and informal. Here is a selection of our finished work!
