Thursday's Class

Hello,

Today we had an interesting class. We had a suprise guest, John Waterman, who taught us all about describing our families. We have then been continuing to look at writing emails, both formal and informal. Here is a selection of our finished work!

  1. Hi Elena,

    Is everything good at home??

Just a short email to ask you if you have decided where you prefer to go this summer.

I can give you some information about Spain.

If you prefer to travel by car you should move around the coast, the sea it's wonderful there and if you have more time you can take the boat from Spain to Morrocco. It's not so far, in 40 minutes you are arrived.. But tell me something about your vacation, i'm waiting your decision.

i hope to see you soon!

    Love your friend Giulia

  2. Dear Mr. Harrison:

Just a quick note to let you know that yesterday I was in Berlin with the director of Mercedes. I think he wants to make a deal with us, could you visit him? He is very interested in our products. I’m sure that we won’t be disappointed. They are really focussed on this work and they don’t want to compete with us, perhaps they are really pleased about my visit.

I hope to hear back from you soon.

    Yours faithfully

    Hi dude!

How are you? Now I’m in London trying to improve my English.

England’s cool but I can’t compare it with our town… I miss the sea, waves……

And I really miss her L……..

Wow! It’s time to go……. I’ll try to send you more emails from the hostel but I can’t promise anything

See you my friend. All the best.
